Ugress - New Shoes Escape Manouvre (Livestream Music Video)

The shoes had other plans. This is a live internet performance of Ugress track “New Shoes Escape Manouevre“ from the 2009 album “Reminiscience“. I’m playing the electric violin processed with guitar amp plugins and a virtual saxophone with the breath controller. This is quite the bit of an experiment. This track is surprisingly popular, it is amongst the top 20 all time streamed tracks on Spotify, which puzzles me to no end, because I consider this a weak filler track. Why on earth is THIS beloved? But being so popular, what the heck, lets test it out in livestreams and see how THAT goes. This was performed live during episode 31, April 2024. Didn’t have a lot of time to produce the visuals for this episode because of intense vinyl production (5 albums now in print!), so the graphics here are actually from another project that is in development, but where the music isn’t finished but the visuals are usable... so I just tested them out too. But they don’t quite fit the track except maybe they are also dorky.
