Ugress - Langour Parlour (work-in-progress) (Livestream Music Video)

A rainy day in solarpunk utopia. A visitor on the screen. Work-in-progress for upcoming Retrotopia album, testing out new music and visuals during regular livestreams. I more happy with the graphics than the music in this version. I spent some time this winter figuring out an efficient way of animating characters and keeping them in sync with the music (without costing me ages in painstakingly keyframing shit), and this is the first track that uses it to some success. For the music, I think there are some okay ideas, but it gets a bit too repetitive. I’ll let this rest for a while and consider it again later.
