LAMB SHANK STEW ON WOOD FIRE (KHASHLAMA)

Hello friends! In this video I made lamb shank stew which is traditional Armenian dish called Khashlama. It is fully cooked in beer. I cooked it on open fire but it can easily be done in your kitchen. I used tomatoes, onions (pearl), bell pepper, chili peppers, potatoes, salt, black pepper, peppercorn, chili powder, bay leaves, garlic, and 3-4 bottles of beer. Any beer will work, water is another option if you don’t like beer. The dish was supper delicious.
