John Stowell stopped by Music Store Live recently to check out some guitars and was nice enough to leave us with a few tunes. In this video, he plays Irving Berlin’s standard “How Deep is the Ocean“ on a 1958 Gibson ES-175. We’re still marveling at the refreshingly unique, refined and highly personal sounds that John pulled out of this guitar, and we get the sense we’ll be doing that for a while. Enjoy!
