Palestinians on ‘visitor’ visas reported to be given opportunity to stay in Australia permanently

Sky News host Danica De Giorgio discusses the “visitor” visas to Palestinians who are now reported to be given opportunities to stay in Australia permanently. “We were told last November 860 visitor visas would be issued to Palestinians needing refuge until the war in Gaza was over and we were also told the visas would only be issued after thorough security checks had been conducted,” Ms De Giorgio said. It is now reported more than 2,000 Palestinians allowed into the country will be given the opportunity to stay in Australia permanently.
