Kremlin’s covert mobilization at the top: newcomers are arriving to replenish Russia’s losses
Since the beginning of the year, more than 117 thousand people have been accepted into the #Russian #army on a contract basis and in the so-called voluntary formations. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Dmitry #Medvedev The department claims that the recruitment of contract #servicemen is proceeding, quote, ’at a good pace.’ To make up for losses in manpower, #Moscow plans #recruitment of more than 400,000 recruits this year, Bloomberg reported.
