Ude-garami (arm entanglement) is a very common joint lock, which can be found in just about every grappling system in the world. This week, we show how to use it as a takedown against a standing opponent. We use a Naihanchi-style parry-pass entry against a punch, but you can use this technique just about any time you establish cross-body wrist contact with your opponent.
