Fireman’s Dog Does Stunts (1914-1918)

Location of events unknown. Fire brigade dog does useful stunts. Opens with shot of the dog ( a mongrel terrier) ringing a bell on fire engine by pulling a rope with its teeth. 2 firemen watch as the dog climbs a ladder propped up in front of the open garage door, small fire engine inside. He climbs in through and window. The dog then jumps from the window into a net held by firemen. Fireman sets paper on fire and steps back. The dog runs, jumps on the burning paper and puts the fire out with great courage. C/U of dog held by fireman, another man feeds the pup a snack. Modified WPA record.
