60-SECOND EXCURSION: Touring the open artists’ studios of Paris’ 59 Rivoli
In the heart of Paris’ 1st arrondissement is 59 Rivoli, a former bank-turned-art studio space, where rogue artists used to squat illegally—until it eventually became such an established city cultural center that their presence was legalized. Wandering its six floors, art is everywhere, by working artists (in order of appearance): Elder Olguin, Lino Di Vinci, Luigi La Ferla, James M. Purpura, David Twose, Raphaele Ele, Gaspard Delanoe, Arthur Capmas, Francesco Bouhbal, Vic Oh, Yepar, Mr Byste, Art9 Ka, Mohamed Rahmouni, Fredok le Peintre, Maitena Barrett, Charlotte Kraimps, and many more that wouldn’t fit in this 60-second excursion.
