Remove redundant Points From Splines based on Angle
In this mini tutorial, I will show you how to simplify Splines with many points that are on a straight line, retaining only the points where the spline changes angle. Usually these types of splines are generated using Particles and Tracers and produce a single point per frame, and many times we want to remove the intermediate points and just retain the ones where the spline changes direction.
I will be using two unrelated tools, the Chamfer, a Spline Field in a Selection Tag and some Wizardry.
