Zatopek -- 80ties Punkjazz from Berlin

Zatopek, a Berlin based band of short lived fame, was a 9 piece combination of a new wave rhythm section with punk jazz horns. This feature by Volker Panzer for German TV (ZDF-Aspekte Magazin, ) includes scenes shot in Berlin´s Olympic Stadium, rehearsals and interviews. Members: Peter Friedrich Stephan (founder, keyboards, tenorsax), Sven Regener (trumpet, now Element of Crime), Stephan Schwietzke (tenorsax), Mathias Düwel (altosax), Dorothee Gehrke (voc), Jon Stöckemann (drums, now DJ Magic Jonzon), Borries v.d. Bussche (founder, percussion), Uwe Arens (bass), Jürgen Mann (guitar).
