Death Stranding has been released by surprise on Xbox S/X Series.
This is the first time we’ve seen Decima Engine running on these systems.
PS5 Pro has no dedicated patch, but benefits from its hardware to display near-constant 2160p/60fps.
Xbox Series X is identical to the PS5 version. Even in framerate, both suffer very similar drops in quality mode.
Xbox Series S makes some visual cuts. The most noticeable, in the quality of the terrain and water. It also slightly decreases the quality of shadows, ambient occlusion and post-processing effects.
