Noise Nacht TV: Show #4 Part 1 of 2

This episode features the Haters, GX Jupiter Larsen, Artichokes, 064, and Chuck. Noise Nacht TV was created and produced in 1987 by Kim Cascone, a composer and performer of electronic music who is known for his releases in the ambient, industrial and electro-acoustic genre on his record company, Silent Records. The TV show was an outgrowth of a series of live events he produced featuring a variety of noise, experimental and electro-acoustic music performers. Kim Cascone started Silent Records in 1985 when he released “Silence“ the first album by his group PGR. The next release, the Haters’ “In the Shade of Fire,“ was released shortly after. Although Silent Record’s music was often associated with the industrial scene, Kim noted in a FAD magazine article that he “...wanted to convey something of beauty, of more subtlety, something more eternal.
