Could Gentiles join the Church? - 1st Century (Church History)

Peter the Apostle sees a vision where all is clean and holy (i.e. the Gentiles and Jews should be both accepted into the Church). The Jews were upset and requested that Gentiles become Jews first before becoming Christians. The Council of Jerusalem was held to discuss this issue, bringing Paul’s first missionary trip to a halt.
