Ascending Steep Inclines to Upper Levels in an Abandoned Mine

While exploring the upper levels in this abandoned mine, I found a blasting cap tin that had something very unusual in it – and it wasn’t a blasting cap! Jeff from @otgexploring and I also found some major evidence of seismic activity with wooden support timbers (stulls) that were literally bent and cracked at a 90° angle! Of course, everywhere we went in the mine we saw evidence of the miners’ handiwork including wooden retaining walls, ore chutes, endless stopes, and things like that. Crawling up through the steeply inclined stopes was a great adventure, and I hope you enjoy the video!
