South coat of Britain - Sussex - L/S of a chalky cliff face, camera pans down to reveal a man lying spread-eagled on the beach. M/S of the man on the beach - he is pretending to have fallen off the cliffs. M/S of Brighton Fire Brigade fire engine driving up to the scene. The firemen jump out and run along carrying their tools. Narrator explains that when there is rough weather or high water an injured person has to be rescued from the top of the cliffs - which can be a hazardous task. But the Brighton firemen have devised a simple rescue drill using their normal equipment which revolutionises this type of work.
