Huge Waves Break Down Doors of Army Base in Marshall Islands

A series of large waves fueled by an offshore storm flooded the northern portions of the island of Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, damaging the Army base and Freeflight International Airport. This was neither a “rogue wave“ -- which happen at sea -- or a “freak/sneaker wave“ which happens absent other large waves.
