Effortless UV Continuation in 3Ds Max: Editable Poly Trick #shorts #3dsmax #tips #unwrapping

In this quick tutorial, I demonstrate a powerful feature in 3Ds Max that many users might not be aware of: maintaining UV continuity when extending 3D models. This is particularly useful when creating elements like floors, walls, or ceilings where the texture needs to seamlessly continue. The video is split into two parts. In the first part, I extend a brick wall polygon to the right, showing how the UVs stretch incorrectly, making the bricks look distorted. In the second part, I enable the “Reverse UVs“ checkbox and repeat the extension. This time, the UVs extend correctly, maintaining the texture’s proportion and alignment. This handy trick is available when modeling in Editable Poly.
