UK’s Cheese Race rolls on The unique competition involves competitors racing downhill chasing rolls of cheese every year since the first race was held in 1826. This year’s winners were representatives of England, the USA, Canada and Japan. The record holder of the Coopershild Cheese Race is Briton Chris Anderson, who has won 23 races.
