He began training Muay Thai at the age of 5 under the tutelage of his father, fighting on 20 occasions before moving to a legitimate Muay Thai camp. At 16, Kaona (then fighting under the name of Nongbeer Chokngamwong) reached the pinnacle of his career by capturing the 108 lbs Lumpini belt. Kaona’s most notable wins have com
