Victor Eresko plays Chopin Waltz, Mazurka and Scherzo no. 3 - video 1978

Victor Eresko playing Chopin’s waltz op. 34 no. 1, mazurka op. 68 no. 2, and scherzo no. 3, op. 39, recorded in 1978. Eresko won the Long-Thibaud competition in 1963, and placed third at the 1966 Tchaikovsky competition behind Sokolov and Dichter. He at first studied with Yakov Flier, but after certain disagreements changed to Lev Vlassenko, before continuing most successfully with Lev Naumov.
