Victor Eresko plays Scriabin Poeme and Etude op. 8 no. 12 - video 1978
Victor Eresko playing Scriabin’s Poeme op. 32 no. 1, Etude op. 42 no. 3, and Etude op. 8 no. 12, recorded in 1978. Eresko won the Long-Thibaud competition in 1963, and placed third at the 1966 Tchaikovsky competition behind Sokolov and Dichter. He at first studied with Yakov Flier, but after certain disagreements changed to Lev Vlassenko, before continuing most successfully with Lev Naumov. Timing below:
