GC Buffer explained…

In Rust, a cause for the frame drops that we sometimes experience are the garbage collection cycles and while FacePunch has carried out some awesome improvements to resolve these stutters for the main player base there still remains some ways for players to reduce these frame drops and stutters from occurring even more. The Garbage collection cycle is an unavoidable process that has to take place when the buffers total allocated memory has been reached. (Or 50% depending on in-game situation). So by allocating more space to the buffer memory, you can ultimately delay the stutters from taking place by 10-20 times! Bearing in mind these frame drops can most impact you during combat, using vehicles and loading in monuments and large bases - I think it’s important to understand that if you have the RAM to support it, you can reduce the number of cycles taking place. Freeze frames, lag, stutters and frame drops are issues we all look to avoid and hopefully by using this command, we can work towards avoidi
