Robot Kinematics - This is a robotics course that uses John Craig’s Introduction to Robotics book (see the reference below). The videos in this playlist cover the theory and examples in the following chapters:
Chapter 1: Introduction;
Chapter 2: Spacial descriptions and transformations;
Chapter 3: Manipulator forward Kinematics;
Chapter 4: Manipulator inverse Kinematics;
Chapter 7: Trajectory generation. (we jump to this chapter before covering chapter 5)
Chapter 5: Jacobians - velocities and static forces: using velocities propagation, forces propagation, and direct differentiation methods.
The order of the videos for this course is as follows: Ch1 – Ch2 – Ch3 – Ch4 – Ch7 – Ch5 – ComEx.
Matlab and “Robotics“ toolbox by Peter Corke are also used for each chapter, and a comprehensive example is added to show all steps studied in this course, with Matlab programs and simulation.
Some of the theory and examples presented in these videos are not covered in the referenced textbook, and they are considered an
