Exercise of Russian Armed Forces on the border with the Idlib de-escalation zone

Exercise of Russian Armed Forces on the border with the Idlib de-escalation zone. It’s a new training day on the border with the Idlib de-escalation zone. The soldiers are already having hard time distinguishing fire training from real combat situations: training at the firing ranges and rushes to the front on alarm have blended into one. Here everyone has long been accustomed to sleeping and eating without parting with their weapons. That’s the way frontline service works. Assault units learn to fight in the second echelon of defense of a strategically important area. The enemy is very close and regularly reminds them of themselves - the Syrian firing grounds are in the range of the militants’ artillery. This is no ordinary training at the firing range. The fighters are practicing their defense in actual combat positions, so the soldiers are improving their tactical training skills right on their own fire emplacements.
