Princess Wilhelmina’s Funeral (1962)

Location: The Hague and Delft, Holland / Netherlands Story about the funeral of Princess Wilhelmina of Holland MS of sailors being inspected. CU of Royal flag. MS of procession of horses draped in white. CU of armed guard. VS Princess Wilhelmina’s coffin is carried from the Royal Palace in The Hague by eight Royal foresters and placed upon the horse drawn carriage. The carriage is draped in white, a request of the late princess. Queen Juliana, dressed in white, leaves the Royal Palace with Prince Bernhardt. They are followed by the Princesses Beatrix, Irene, Margriet and Marijke, they climb into the carriage and move off. GV. Guns being fired in Royal salute. VS. The cortege makes its way through the streets and roads on its way to Delft.
