🎦 Gear and Tools we use: Dresden’s Striezelmarkt is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany. It has been held regularly in Dresden on the Altmarkt during Advent since 1434. The 585th Striezelmarkt took place from November 27 to December 24, 2019. In the immediate vicinity of the Dresden Striezelmarkt there are several other markets, such as the stalls on Prager Strasse, the main connection between the train station and the city center, or the Christmas market “Advent on the Neumarkt“ in front of the Frauenkirche. A market with a medieval atmosphere can be found in the courtyard of the Stallhof Castle.
