2015 Civil War Training Video

Several of our team (mostly NCOs) gathered as the 1st Virginia Infantry to film this footage which will become part of our Civil War training video. The footage shown here has not yet been edited other than for time. The project is still in production and the final version will include captions, descriptions and narration. In Civil War reenacting, historic drill of the era is re-interpreted and applied in order to provide a high level of safety while maintaining an authentic look and feel. This footage is representative of how we do this in the 1st Virginia/1st Minnesota. The methods we use are common (though not universal) to the ANV.
