Restoration Railway Kerosene Lantern - 20th Century

Hello folks! Today I am restoring a railway kerosene lantern, a sample of the beginning of the 20th century. Let’s start restoration! The first duty I did was to remove the broken glass, take out the kerosene lamp and remove the upper part of the lantern. By removing the old handle. I just cleaned the surface of the lamp with sandblasting and polished. I started cleaning rust and old paint with a sandblaster. After cleaning the entire surface, I began to align the dents on the lantern. After leveling the surface, I sanded the metal surface and degreased it with a solvent. I painted the lantern black red (as it was in the original). The paint can withstand more than 650 degrees.
