Stormy Mundy Selection (Occasional Series - Acts of Random Archive Rummaging) It’s always interesting to try and imagine how this piece, or indeed The Power To Believe as a whole, would have turned out had Adrian not brought the beautiful melody of All Her Love Is Mine from his 1996 solo album Op Zop Too Wah, to the sessions. It provided a conceptual balance to the record and here, in this alternative mix from the original TPTB sessions, and some dramatic additional touches from Alex Mundy, the vocal lines shine and shimmer as if in a soft-focus halo. Yet, the simple, elegant melody slips through the haze over the gamelan section, to disappear headlong into the reaches of space just before the team comes back in. A beautiful moment.
