Germany. Title: “25 TON ’PEACE’ BELL replaces the Emperor Bell (melted down for ammunition during the war) in Cologne Cathedral“. L/S of Cologne Cathedral (part has scaffolding on it), tilt down to show the city’s rooftops. Various shot, looking over the heads of a crowd, of a procession through the city streets - an enormous cathedral bell is carried along on a float, it is escorted by policemen on horseback. High angled shot of the bell float outside the cathedral doors, a large crowd watches from the square in front of the cathedral.
