Everyone can do a squat❗
Did you ask why?
Because we all do it all the time! You do a squat every time you stand up from a chair or even a toilet!
The ability to do a squat is essential for almost all activities of daily living (ADL).
Despite this, many people find it hard to learn how to squat properly.
In those cases, you should try to use the:
CHAIR SQUAT🪑
So how would you use it for teaching proper squat technique?🔍
Start by instructing the trainee to sit on a chair and then stand up.
After a few reps, ask the trainee to imagine that there is an egg on the chair, and that they should try not to crush it, only lightly touch it.
Let them do a few more reps and see how the magic starts to work.
